The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 are reopen near Golden after a truck fire was extinguished.
Traffic was temporarily diverted on to U.S. Hwy. 6. Two I-70 lanes reopened after firefighters put out the truck fire, the Colorado State Patrol said on X at 7:32 p.m.
The vehicle that caught fire was a semi truck hauling cardboard, the state patrol said. The driver escaped the fire, and the fire was extinguished.
