The warm and dry weather is sticking around for another day, but some strong winds added to the forecast Friday have increased the area’s fire risks.

Denver will see a mostly sunny day with a high of 90 degrees. Winds will be between eight and 13 mph, with some gusts reaching 17 mph. The low Friday night is 57 degrees.
Humidity will get into the teens Friday across most of Colorado, adding to the elevated fire danger throughout the state.
After Friday, Denverites will have to endure one more warm day before a cold front moves in Sunday to bring temperatures down to the 70s most of next week. Saturday will still be warm and sunny, but the high is a couple degrees below 90 at 88. There is a slight chance of storms Saturday night.
Storms are all but guaranteed Sunday after the cold front moves in, with a 60% chance during the day and a 70% chance in the evening. Temperatures Sunday will reach a high of 75 degrees.
Storms are also very likely Monday as well with a 60% chance during the day. The high then is expected to be the coolest day of the week at 72 degrees.
