A person died early Saturday morning after a vehicle hit them in front of the University of Colorado Anschutz campus in Aurora.

The vehicle hit the person in front of the walking bridge over Colfax Avenue near Children’s Way, Aurora police reported about 4:30 a.m. on X.
The person died at the scene, police said.
